Job Description

We are working with an IFA network with 8 Advisors who urgently seek a Head of Compliance to take SMF16 and SMF17 responsibility.Responsibilities as follows:

  • Provide oversight and challenge of operational areas to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Provide oversight and challenge of operational areas to ensure all risks to the business are identified and that appropriate action is taken to mitigate these risks
  • Establish effective internal relationships with key business Partners to ensure all company initiatives and new issues are fully understood and considered in a compliant and commercially sensitive manner
  • Provide an internal helpdesk to support operational areas and ensure that staff understand their regulatory responsibilities and identify key risks associated with their business. You will ideally have a background working for an advisory firm or network
