Job Description

Geo-Environmental Technician | Bromsgrove | Full Time | £18,000 - £23,000 depending on experienceBrownfield Solutions is a well-established geo-environmental engineering consultancy offering UK-wide solutions to a broad range of clients including Property Developers, Commercial and Strategic Land companies, Private Landowners, Contractors, Planners,Architects, Engineers, Local Authorities and Central Government organisations.Your duties will involve driving in the order of 500 miles per week with some overnights away from home. The use of company vehicles will be provided for travelling on business, but the candidate should be an experienced and comfortable driver of all vehiclesup to large transit size vans and have a full clean driving licence valid in the UK.Experience in the general construction/engineering sector would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.The successful candidate will earn £18,000 - £23,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.What can Brownfield Solutions give to you

  • The sites are nationwide and applicants must be willing to work away from home on a regular basis
What will your role as a Geo-Environmental Technician look like
  • Loading and driving company vans to sites
  • Collection of field data, site monitoring, walkover surveys
  • Gas and groundwater monitoring
  • Assisting with site works including Soakaway testing, and undertaking basic field tests, such as groundwater purging and sampling, plate loads etc
  • Complete and accurate record keeping
  • Collection and dispatch of samples for analysis
