Job Description

Adecco are currently looking for a General Operative for our client based in the Bromsgrove area. Our client is looking for someone to join their small but mighty team who are well established and experts in their industry.This role would suit a self-starter, someone who is looking for a new challenge and loves learning new trade skills.Ideal Candidate:

  • Engineering experience/background desirable
  • Good with hand tools
  • Able to read engineering drawings
  • Able to work alone once trained
Duties to include:
  • Using bench saw to cut tubes
  • Able to work in mms and can be accurate to the mm cutting copper & brass tube
  • Building & loading tubes into stacks to be sent to the weld shop
  • Able to keep their working area clean
  • Working to cut lists
  • Working out sizes and minimise scrappage
  • Cutting tube diameter range from ¼"- 1"
Pay: £11 per hourHours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4pm and 7:30am-3pm on Friday (30 minutes unpaid lunch & 20 minutes paid break in the morning)This is an ongoing temporary assignment for approx. 3 months, potentially longer dependent on business needs.If you have a keen eye for detail, youre hard working and reliable we would love to hear from you.This will be an immediate start for the right candidate pending interview.If you have any questions regarding the above vacancy, please contact Carla today Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
