Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment Birmingham is looking for a dedicated Teacher of Food and Design Technology to work in a popular and over-subscribed Academy for 11 to 18-year olds on the boarder of Worcestershire and Birmingham.This progressive secondary school most recently gained Ofsted Good school status with Outstanding leadership and student development and behaviours.The role is a temporary full-time role to start ASAP until the end of the summer term. It is a KS3-4 Food specialist role with Product Design at KS3. You will work with a small collaborative department and will have full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, assessments and teaching remotely from home until children and staff return to school. Weekly Covid testing will also be available to all staff at school.To join us, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV that must have 10 years employment history included and any employment breaks must be explained
