Job Description

Customer Services ManagerAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Customer Services Manager based in Bromsgrove. The successful candidate will earn £35,000.As a Customer Service Manager, you will make sure that the needs of customers are being met or exceeded. Your aim is to provide and promote excellent customer service throughout the organisation you work for. You will manage the customer service team, makingsure that service standards are being met and problems are resolved.Role Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a customer services environment is essential.
  • Previous experience of leading/managing a team of customer service representatives is essential.
  • Previous experience of using CRM systems is essential.
  • PC literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • A recognised qualification in people management is essential for this role.
  • A recognised qualification in customer service delivery would be advantageous.
Role Responsibilities
  • Provide help to customers using your organisations products or services.
  • Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face-to-face.
  • Investigate and solve customers problems, which may be complex or long-standing, that have been passed on by customer service assistants.
  • Handle customer complaints or any major incidents, such as a security issue or a customer being taken ill.
  • Issue refunds or compensation to customers.
  • Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
  • Analyse statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service your organisation is providing.
  • Produce written information for customers, often involving the use of computer packages and software.
  • Write reports and analyse the customer service that your organisation provides.
  • Develop feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use.
  • Improve customer service procedures, policies and standards for your organisation or department.
  • Meet with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service.
  • Manage staff recruitment and appraisals and day to day HR issues.
  • Train staff to deliver a high standard of customer service.
  • Lead the team of customer service staff.
  • Learn about your organisations products or services and keep up to date with changes.
  • Keep ahead of developments in customer service by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending courses.
Company Based in Bromsgrove, our client works in partnership with medical device Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), adapting to individual needs and requirements by offering a package tailored specifically to each customer. We offer a comprehensive servicewhich includes the testing, calibration and repair of a wide range of medical equipment, from enteral feeding and infusion devices, to renal, patient monitoring and specialist surgical equipment. Work is carried out at our purpose-built premises, or acrossthe UK by local Field Service Engineers.Why should you apply
