Building Surveyor - Housing / Construction£37,804 per annumBromsgrove, WorcestershireFull Time, PermanentClosing date: Monday 10th October 2022 at 9amInterview date: Friday 28th OctoberWe have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Building Surveyor to take ownership and responsibility for the planned maintenance of our housing stock and ensure all improvements are carried out to our high standards.Youll carry out feasibility studies, condition surveys and prepare specifications for possible remedial works.Customer-focused, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the planning and delivery of programmes and services, whilst regularly reviewing the category, refining and improving the processes around it and reporting the appropriate results.You will liaise with contractors and ensure that resources are met to ensure work is carried out in a timely manner.Youll provide a strategic overview for our energy efficiency plans as well as our asset management and development strategies.With experience within the construction industry, you will be in possession of a construction related qualification such as HNC / HND and / or CIOB. Youll have gained experience within a similar Surveying role and will be accustomed to maintaining healthand safety for all involved in the maintenance programmes.In line with our values, you will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards customers and other colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is maintained in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance,efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.What we can offer in return:
