Job Description

Elixir Ltd are an ambitious growing management consultancy business based in Bromsgrove, specialising in business process outsourcing and operational optimisation. We are looking to expand and actively seek an experienced Accountant to manage our dynamic Finance team and the associated processes. The ideal candidate will have gained experience working in either a practice or industry environment and ideally be ACCA/CIMA qualified.The Role This is a varied role, your roles and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Managing the finance team and supporting their development
  • Streamlining, documenting, and implementing company processes
  • Developing Client relationships
  • Regularly liaising with Clients & Stakeholders
  • Assisting management team with priority tasks and ad-hoc projects
    • Core requirements
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent IT with strong knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to critically appraise processes or data to make recommendations
  • Strong organisational skills, logical approach, and attention to detail
  • To have a pro-active and organised approach to tackling challenges and workload
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
  • Strong management, communication, and organisation skills
    • Experience:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and possess a good wealth of accounting knowledge
  • Management experience
    • Education:
  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA
