Job Description

During this pandemic, Reed Education are completing fast track registrations to help candidates find a new opportunity within an educational environment and secure something for September.Are you a qualified Science teacher with additional responsibilitiesHave your previously been a SENCO with elements of teaching your subject specialismA school just outside of Birmingham City Centre are looking to recruit for a Science Teacher to teach 13 lessons a week of Chemistry, Biology and Physics to KS3 and KS4 students and the rest of your timetable as a SENCO. This is a full time role starting in the new academic year September 2020 on a temporary basis initially.The ideal candidate must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous experience as a SENCO

Science specialism – able to teach Chemistry, Biology and Physics

Proven track record as a SENCO

Experience in Secondary Schools

As the SENCO, you will ensure that students who feel left behind academically have the necessary support to be able to continue learning at a similar pace to their peers.
