We don’t want to tell you too much about who the client is at this stage as we don’t want to spoil the surprise!Sound interesting Why not read on…What will be keeping you busyWith support from a part-time HR Administrator, you will be the HR team. Between you, you will manage the recruitment process of all new employees, agency staff and volunteers whilst following and closely adhering to Safer Recruitment guidelines. This is of the utmost importance so attention to detail is required to ensure that no issues are found when compliance checks are carried out forensically.You will prepare and write offer letters and contracts, organise induction programmes, maintain employee handbooks and monitor staff absence. Alongside this you will coach line managers on handling first line employment queries themselves and provide HR advice on change management initiatives within the organisation.You will benchmark salaries with other roles locally to ensure that our client remains competitive and can attract the best people available.More complex employee relations case work is outsourced, but you may be called on to handle more straight forward case work from time to time.Who are we looking forOur client is genuinely happy to consider people at all stages of their career. It is important to stress that you would be the most senior HR person in the organisation so if you are looking for an opportunity to learn from more senior HR professionals, then this might not be what you are looking for and we want to be upfront about that.Because of the high level of importance around ensuring recruitment administration is handled properly with all key pieces of information recorded and date stamped, you really do need to be strong on detail.We would like to see good HR generalists with a strong track record of delivering on tactical HR work. This might suit someone that is in work or returning to work and our client is open minded about the sector that you have worked in previously. If you have exposure to Safer Recruitment previously then that would be an added bonus but is not essential. You should be able to demonstrate of managing a reasonable volume of HR admin work whilst ensuring that all of the Ts’ are crossed!You will be a good relationship manager that supports your stakeholders.
