Job Description

Our client, based in Kent, is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading educational organisation.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is £28,913 per annum.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employee relations and hold a full UK driving license.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Lead on all elements of case management across the organisation from more basic level cases to complex, sensitive, and high-risk ER cases
  • Coach and advise managers to achieve resolution of ER matters at the earliest possible opportunity, providing support and guidance to aid their understanding of case management, policies, procedures, and ER practices
  • Lead on the design, production and delivery of regular training sessions and workshops for line managers across the organisation, providing updates on internal changes to policies and procedures
  • Consult with in-house expertise, trade unions and other legal professionals to ensure effective case management, risk assessment and cost mitigation of claims up to and including Employment Tribunal or other Court proceedings
  • Pro-actively lead on absence management, using data analysis to identify trends and areas of concern and formulating effective strategies to improve absence rates
  • Ensure that all paperwork and information associated with ER issues is managed effectively and accurately
Experiencerequired:
  • Strong experience dealing with a range of ER cases
  • Successfully consult with external stakeholders
Working hours:
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
