Location: BroadstairsSalary: £28,358 - £30,669p/aDescription: 41 hours per week. Term-Time-Working (38 weeks per year plus 10 days Short Term Break Provision and 5 days training totaling 41 weeks per year)The role of the Deputy Manager will be to support and work alongside the Registered Manager of the residential provision in efficiently co-managing the care of the children and administration of the team.Recently rated Outstanding with Ofsted the Residential School is situated on a spacious site in the seaside town of Broadstairs, in East Kent. Some facilities include a library and interactive storytelling zone, swimming pool, parent / carer house, interactivesoft play and sensory rooms, interactive bicycle track, pottery, all weather football pitch, sensory garden, and horticultural projects.Personal Spec: Three Years working with children/people with learning difficulties and/or autism, or with other children/people in a residential setting.OR two years as above, plus the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Please note post holders must be willing to commit to obtaining the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years of the start of their employment if notalready obtained.For this post you will need to be willing to commit to achieving Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years of beginning employment at the school (if not already achieved).If you would like further information, please get in touch.
