Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a super nursery group based in Brixton, South London and have an opportunity for an experienced level 3 qualified Room Leader. The ideal candidate must be passionate about early years and have experience of working with babies or preschool aged childrenPerson Specification:NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalentExperience of working with Babies or Preschool aged childrenBasic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)Some of the Room Leader responsibilities will include:• Leading by example and ensuring staff team are observing children and managing their learning and development records• Delivering EYFS framework and mentoring and directing staff team to plan exciting age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors• To effectively work as part of a team and ensure staff ratios are maintained at all times• Supporting children at meal times and with personal care• Working in partnership with parents and key interfacing groups• Working to nursery Equal opportunity, Safeguarding, Health & Safety policy and procedures• Attending parent’s evenings and open days as required• Attending staff meetings and training• Working 40 hours per week shiftsBenefits:Excellent benefits in include training, pensions, uniform, and genuine career progression.Due to the nature of this job, candidates will be subject to UK eligibility checks together with Enhance Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checksFor immediate interview please email Staff Match your up to date CV or call
