Yard Operative

Yard Operative required for full-time permanent role in Avonmouth, BS11. The role involves vehicle salvage, dismantling and recycling

£23,000 per annum basic
40 hours per week
MondayFriday, day shift
Overtime paid at x1.5 after 40 hours worked
On-site parking, not easily accessible by public transport (Approx. 2 miles from both St Andrews road and Severn Beach train stations)

About the job

Loading and unloading lorries
Completing inspection reports by recording the damage to vehicles as they arrive at the site
Imaging vehicles using video cameras recording clear and concise images and sounds
Moving vehicles between locations
Providing excellent customer service and support to both clients and suppliers

The right candidate

Full UK manual driving license
Comfortable working outside in all weathers
Experience of using a forklift or happy to undertake forklift training, funded by the client!
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Basic IT skills.
