As part of this journey, we are moving to a Product Led way of working. We are therefore looking for a Workday Product Lead with experience leading and deliveringa technical strategy, great stakeholder engagement and experience managing a team. You will be at the centre of our goal to gain a deep understanding of user problems and needs. You will define our Workday vision and strategy and lead the product team to ensurethe successful delivery of services.What youll be doing

  • Leading the service strategy for the Workday product and related services
  • Managing a team of Workday Analysts- inspiring, coaching and guiding your direct reports to ensure the delivery of outcomes to support the customer and business
  • Instilling a sense of empowerment within the product team, to maximize efficiency and autonomy
  • Responsible for creating and communicating our Workday roadmap & backlog to our Workday Analysts and updating our business teams accordingly.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders in our HR and Finance teams, as well as HL colleagues, to understand their requirements.
  • Working with Workday and our 3rd party partner to identify upcoming enhancements, ensuring new features are adopted, ensure colleagues are getting the most from the product and HL is getting best value.
  • Prioritising the enhancement backlog and working with stakeholders to define regular sprints.
  • Responsible for managing risks and ensure risk controls are in place and regularly tested.
  • Managing our Workday finances and renewals. Ensure we receive value for money and introduce cost savings where possible.
  • Ensure the team has the capabilities needed to deliver change (tech, people, process)
  • Identify, measure and clearly communicate Workdays performance KPIs and demonstrate how this contributes to the Corporate Platform and business objectives
About you
  • An experienced Product Lead/Product Manager
  • Possess an in-depth understanding and working knowledge of Agile delivery methods
  • Accomplished in forging effective relationships and influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Problem solving, planning and time management skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to multitask and manage a large and varied workload and demonstrate high levels of self and team organisation
  • Customer focused, with a desire to instil a culture of continual service improvement
  • An effective and engaging communicator, able to explain and articulate complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Flexible and adaptable when dealing with changing requirements and priorities.
  • Drives a collaborative learning culture
Experience of the following would be highly desirable:
  • Planning and managing workloads and sprints using Jira.
  • Experience coordinating and running priority /sprint planning meetings.
  • A Workday expert; with at least 2 to 4 years designing and upscaling Workday solutions
