Wintel Engineer Bristol (remote working but some site visits will be required)6 months fixed term contractGenerous holiday and pension as well as progressive work environmentOur client is working on a very exciting digital transformation programme and are seeking talented people to support them on this journey. Within this role, you will be required to plan, develop, provide and co-ordinate extensive IT services and infrastructure including servers, data-storage and desktop management. You will be responsible for life-cycle management including identifying requirements, co-ordinating approaches and the planning, development and maintenance of the resulting service.Essential Skills and Experience:* Design and documentation of service and management protocols related to enterprise level IT infrastructure which form part of a service life cycle and change management process* Substantial experience of building and maintaining enterprise scale operations and IT infrastructure* Extensive technical project management experience in a large-scale IT function* Experience of delivering technical presentations to peers and colleagues at all levels of the organisation, and the ability to adapt these to an audience of differing technical knowledge.Desirable:* Windows Server* Microsoft Azure* Understanding of Core networking principles; L2/L3 routing, load balancing, firewalls, zero trust and IPV4 and IPV6* Experience of legacy Microsoft Infrastructures and remediation* Experience of mass Software deployment and configurationTo apply, email your CV to Amy Williams @ Certes Computing today!
