Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer. Location: Bristol, Somerset.Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + BenefitsWe are working closely with an industry leading Water Treatment / Air Hygiene company who have a strong presence in the South West of England. Due to continued growth, they are now in the market for a Water Treatment Service Engineer to cover contracts in Bristoland the surrounding areas. You will be working across Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, and Industrial sites, carrying out various water treatment services, including steam boiler and cooling tower testing, using onsite test kits, testing and calibrating CL02systems and continuously finding opportunities to upsell company services. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bath, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Swindon, Marlborough, Devizes, Andover, Warminster, Sailsbury, Shepton Mallet, Shaftesbury, Bridgewater, Taunton, Yeovil, Ilminster, Bampton, Tiverton, Exeter, Torquay, Plymouth,Exmouth.Experience & Qualifications: " Will have a strong Water Treatment background and will have excellent knowledge of necessary chemicals. " Will have excellent hands-on experience working for an established Water Treatment company. " Fully conversant with relevant ACoP L8 / Health and Safety guidelines. " Will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. " Will be IT literate. " Must be confident using onsite test kits. The Role:" Conducting weekly / monthly steam boiler and cooling tower testing. " Carrying out closed system analysis and dosing." Using onsite test kits and dosing accordingly. " Servicing and calibrating of CL02 units. " Carrying out chlorination of water systems. " Carrying out water softener servicing. " Carrying out fault-finding on site and ensuring issues are rectified in a timely manner. " Completing risk assessments, reports, and schematic drawings. " Liaising with clients, providing advice and support based on site findings. " Attending meetings and professionally representing the company when required. " Working in accordance with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines." Continuously upselling company services to new and existing clients.
