Our client is a well-established and successful water treatment/hygiene company, and they are currently looking to recruit an experienced and competent Water Hygiene Engineer/Remedial Plumber to work on a variety of contracts in the Bristol area. The idealapplicant will come from a strong water hygiene background with experience undertaking a variety of duties including TMV servicing, water sampling and temperature monitoring. The ideal applicant will also be a qualified plumber and hold experience undertakingremedial plumbing duties. Applications from Yeovil, Weston-Super-Mare, Exeter, and the surrounding areas will be considered.Qualifications & experience: " Extensive experience in carrying out water hygiene duties in line with ACOP L8 guidelines. " Will ideally hold Plumbing qualifications NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent" Experience in delivering remedial plumbing duties to a varied site base. " Must possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. " Proficient IT skills including competency using MS Office. Postholder responsibilities: " Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, cooling towers, etc. " Carrying out analysis on closed systems and chemical dosing. " Repair, replace and servicing of TMVs, Showerheads etc. " Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems." Comply with the current Health and Safety legislation. " Maintain and install dosing systems, etc. " Carry out any remedial legionella/plumbing work.
