Job Description

Principal Electrical EngineerPatchway, BristolSalary up to £65,000Do you want to have a vital role in shaping some of the most exciting electrical engineering projects Do you want to work for a leading global engineering consultancy A client of ours is looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their talented team in Bristol. You will play a vital role in every aspect of electrical engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure. You will have the opportunityto work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. As a consultancy, they work in all aspects of electrical engineering, within multiple sectors such as water, aviation, defence, energy, cities & development and education. Benefits include:

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work and input into bid proposals
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design
Ideally, we are looking for a Chartered Electrical Engineer who has experience leading design delivery and has knowledge of LV and HV systems, motor control centres and electrical installations/systems.
