Our client is a reputable environmental company who provide specialist water treatment, legionella, and asbestos services to a national client base. They are currently recruiting for a hard-working and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/ Legionella RemedialPlumber based in and around the Bristol area. The successful candidate will be experienced in carrying out water hygiene and remedial plumbing duties across a varied site base. Previous experience carrying out legionella risk assessments would be beneficialbut not essential to the role. Applications will be considered from Bath, Taunton, Gloucester, Swindon, Cardiff, and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & experience: Extensive experience in carrying out water hygiene duties in line with ACOP L8 guidelines to a varied site base. Experience in delivering legionella remedial plumbing duties. Will ideally hold the City & Guilds or WMSoc Legionella qualification and experience carrying out legionella risk assessments. Excellent communication skills. Competent in using Microsoft Office Package. Will ideally hold Plumbing qualifications NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent. Role: Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, boilers, cooling towers, etc. Repair, replace and servicing of TMVs, Showerheads etc. Monitoring air and water systems. Comply with the current Health and Safety legislation. Undertake temperature monitoring, conduct routine sampling and analysis of water systems. Maintain and install dosing systems, etc. Build and maintain a professional working relationship with clients. Undertaking legionella risk assessments and associated remedial plumbing works.
