An outstanding water hygiene company providing a professional range of water treatment/hygiene and legionella service is currently recruiting an experienced and committed Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Bristol area. The successful postholderwill be experienced in undertaking water hygiene duties such as carrying out temperature monitoring and sampling. For the right candidate, the company can offer training into legionella risk assessing. Applications from Bath, Gloucester, Swindon, and surroundingareas with good access to the M4 will be considered. Experience & Qualifications: Will be fully conversant with the ACOP L8 guidelines. Have previous hands-on experience delivering water hygiene duties to a varied site base. Previous experience undertaking remedial plumbing duties will be beneficial to this role. Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Responsibilities within the role: Carry out disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, replacing tanks and remedial work. Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.Undertaking maintenance and installation of dosing systems.Submitting accurate paperwork including reports. Carrying out remedial plumbing work as and when required.The ideal candidate will demonstrate an excellent work ethic as well as the ability to work independently to agreed timescales and must be prepared to travel to designated sites as per clients requirements.
