Job Description

A leading Advertising Agency is looking for an experienced UX Developer for a multi-disciplinary role across UX, UI design, web development & conversion rate optimisation.An annual salary of up to £40,000 is offered depending on experience + remote working + training and progression + high spec laptopsClientA successful Web Agency who work with a range of clients in industries such as; technology, charity, financial services, fintechboth nationally and internationally, are seeking passionate Digital specialists to join their team and progress over time.If you have a passion for all things digital and media related this is for you.What you will be doing:

  • Creating high quality wireframes and low-fi prototypes based on data & user insight in Adobe XD
  • Design new website UI and UX based on wireframes/prototypes in Adobe XD
  • Developing new websites working collaboratively with a team of designers and developers
  • Supporting retained web development clients with BAU development changes, where required
  • Version control and deployment procedure adherence
  • Design and setup of new experiments in A/B testing tools (i.e. VWO)
  • Design and build of HTML5 banners for display advertising
  • Attend client calls, meetings and workshops to present and discuss ideas
  • Communicate both internally and with the client via our project management software
  • Keeping up to date with latest industry trends and best practices
  • To work and keep to tight deadlines
What you will need;
  • Experience in an agency environment as part of a web development team
  • Excellent HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, and HTML5 skills
  • Experience developing open-source websites in either WordPress or Drupal (both is ideal)
  • Experience working in JS Frameworks, ideally Angular and React
  • Basic knowledge of PHP and the ability to make basic back-end changes
  • Knowledge of RESTful web APIs, services and integrations
  • Good understanding of UCD process and UX/UI principles
  • Proficient in the use of version control, i.e. Git, BitBucket
  • Proficient using the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
  • Experience working in both waterfall and agile environments
  • Experience working within central workflow management processes i.e. Trello, Basecamp
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact confidently with internal staff and clients
  • Experience of RESTful web APIs, services and integrations
