Job Description

One of the largest, independently owned and award - winning insurance brokers in the South West. They have a modern and dynamic approach,which has resulted in exciting growth, but they never lose sight of what is most important, keeping the customer and their colleagues as their focus - always.Our client are a rapidly growing, market leading business, who due to continued success are looking to add an Underwriting Schemes Manager to their team.There are several parts to the role:

  1. The Management of a number of Delegated Underwriting Authority Schemes
  2. The profitable underwriting and management of those schemes.
  3. Leadership of a team of underwriters.
  4. Ideally the ability to negotiate, analyse, and conduct profitability testing and analysis of schemes (existing and new) with the view of getting them onto a quote and buy digital platform.
