Job Description

They have invested heavily in technology for their customers and staff and are able to change and adapt effortlessly in an ever-changing industry.This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Transport Supervisor to take their career to the next stage.Responsibilities:

  • efficiently organising and controlling the operation of the LGV fleet, in order to achieve driver and vehicle targets.
  • Ensure that all relevant safety regulations, legal and Company policies are adhered to and that staff are aware of their individual responsibilities to ensure everyones safety at work.
  • Management of LGV fleet, handling driver disciplinaries & appraisals.
  • Driver de-briefing
  • Operational administration as required.
  • Liaising with warehouse teams.
  • Ad-Hoc transport office duties.
    • Requirements:
  • Experience within a transport operations team is essential.
  • A Class C licence and Transport Management CPC would be an advantage.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Packages
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • Target driven to deliver service, compliance, and profit.
