Job Description

MS387 – Trainee Height SafetyEngineerLocation: BristolSalary:£25,000 - £29,000 per annum DOEOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search Trainee Height Safety Engineer.*Previous industry experience is not essential as full training is provided. *Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a Height Safety Support Operative you will assist and receive on the job training to survey, test and install height safety systems.
  • Displaying excellent customer service skills in fulfilling the needs of clients, you will work efficiently with an experienced engineer, upholding health and safety standards through proficient use of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Your role will involve producing test and inspection reports detailing further works needed for legislative compliance and installing height safety mechanisms using our chosen Fall Protection system provider.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • DBS Checked.
  • CSCS (desirable).
  • IPAF(desirable).
  • PASMA(desirable).
  • Any working at height training (desirable).
  • Rescue training(desirable).
  • Construction experience(desirable).
  • IRATA(desirable).
