Acorn Recruitment is looking for a technically-minded person to join their client, based in Thornbury, to provide technical sales support for product design/costing for specific enquiries and orders.You will be joining a supportive and growing company with more than 50 years of experience and an excellent reputation, helping them to provide businesses across the UK with their expertise in pallet racking systems, shelving, mezzanine floors and steelpartitions.Salary is circa £25,000 per annum.What will you be doing* Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer enquiries, orders, account statuses and relevant problems* Provide data and guides to help the sales team and customers* Qualify inbound leads, covering them from marketing to sales, alongside targeting identified prospects within customer segments* Develop and monitor performance indicators* Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information* Demonstrate appropriate awareness of design and manufacturing capabilities and processes within our supply chain network* Provide support for customers and colleagues in the creation of customer accounts* Liaise with colleagues and account managers to develop specific sales strategies* Reporting directly to Sales Manager* Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure the sales team is on board* Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience* Keep abreast of trends, market data and competitors with an eye to providing key updates and improvements to meet client demands* To develop customer relationships towards a standard where the company is always the first company they seek for advice and quotationWhat are we looking for* Our client looking for someone who can design solutions and create sales quotations that are cost-effective and based on approved suppliers product ranges and meet customer specification (designs/quotations should be on time to the agreed deadlines and torequired quality)* In addition, our client is looking for an positive and proactive candidate who will confidently work with clients, manufacturers, and suppliers to achieve results without compromising quality or safetyAs well as this the following are required:* Previous experience in a similar sales position* Strong technical and troubleshooting experience* Good telephone manner* Proficiency with AutoCAD* Outstanding organisational skills* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal* Able to communicate with confidence with technical experts and senior leadersAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
