Job Description

A leading software developers based in East Bristol have a fantastic new opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join their dynamic team on a permanent, full time basis.Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experienceLocation - Emersons Green, BristolWorking Hours - Permanent, Full Time 37 hrs per week 09:00 - 17:00 (early finishes at 16:30 on Fridays)Hybrid working option - A minimum of 3 days are required to be working in the office each weekFantastic company benefits including:

The Technical Business Analyst role:Successful delivery of high-quality software solutions to new and existing clients to meet client requirements. Understanding client business objectives, processes, and requirements, and translating these into technical specifications that the Business DevelopmentTeam and Developers can deliver against.Key objectives of the Technical Business Analyst:
  • Generate defined and agreed User Stories/requirements with clear understanding of how they meet client needs and the underpinning solution design.
  • Work closely with Business development and Software developers to design robust solutions and architectures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to build trust and confidence in the company and products.
  • Work to improve the quality, reliability and performance to meet client and company expectations, develop robust, reliable solutions in new sectors, create an outstanding/intuitive user experience and to produce an outstanding quality product in the competitivemarket.
Key attributes and experience required:
  • Proven experience as Business Analyst in Software Sector or as Technical Business Analyst.
  • Ability to accurately specify client technical requirements for Development Team.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues or documenting for Dev Team to resolve.
  • Experience testing across Microsoft Windows, Web, iOS and Android Platforms.
  • Ability to confidently communicate technical/non-technical issues with clients as well as capturing client requirements and generating quality User stories
  • Knowledge of software testing methodology.
  • Must be educated to HND or NVQ level 3 / 4 in a science based subject. A degree in computer science is advantageous.
