Job Description

Your experience working as a Technical Author or Technical Writing will make a real impact for our client. Due to our client experiencing a long sustained period of growth a number of opportunities have arisen in the transforming Technical Publications department. The purpose of these roles are to analyse, develop and deliver the Technical Publications for a complexportfolio of their products across the Air, Land and Sea domains.Our client are a world-leading, multi-national defence organisation that will challenge and develop your technical capabilities, and offer you the chance to work in a developing, cutting-edge environment in some of the most advanced facilities in their areasof expertise..Employee experience is a key factor in management decisions and your career development is seen as an important part of company strategy.   • Have experience in technical
  • You will need to have experience of authoring to SGMLbut also the ability to adapt to other formats of authorship also
  • You will need to be familiar in the use of S1000D based authoring tools and be aware of BREX (Business Rules Exchange) use and Guidance Documents, a CSDB (Common Source Data Base) environment and the associated reports.
  • You need to be able to work with a variety of different types of people and will maintain a willing, helpful attitude and a calm professional manner.
  • Provide technical expertise in ensuring design teams have a clear understanding of the publication development, production and upkeep process.
Role: Technical AuthorLocations Considered: Bristol, Stevenage and Bolton (Hybrid working will be offered)Salary: 35-43K plus exceptional Benefits including:
