Job Description

Team Manager - Content SimulationsCompetitive Salary + Superb BenefitsBased on the outskirts of Worle, Weston-Super-Mare 100% Office based / own transport requiredThe Company:Our client, an expert in their field is well established and deliver world-class technical support on behalf of their impressive client base. They have a fun working environment and genuinely value their employees offering great staff incentives and a superbworking environment!The Job:Reporting the Head of Digital Delivery (HoDD) this role requires a digital and tech savvy manager to join and manage a content simulations team, to deliver device builds using in-house tools which replicate visually how to steps on a given device or application.Management of time is a core requirement and tracking of builds to completion on time, to company guidelines; and those of their clients is key.Core requirements

  • Assign tasks to the team and help to monitor progress accordingly
  • Stay up to date with the latest device and operating system releases
  • Ensure alongside the HoDD that Simulations Editors have necessary training/equipment to deliver their objectives
  • Be the benchmark for quality of work produced - raising any gaps/concerns with HoDD
  • Support the HoDD in continuously reviewing and improving processes
  • Feedback improvements to IT team & track these (via applicable Sprints)
  • Be an expert & sounding board in Simulations, able to support other team members
  • Occasional hands on device builds as requiredobtain a practical understanding of the delivery tools
  • Create and edit content in response to;
    • Operating System (OS) updates
    • Unique selling points
    • Client requests and feedback
    • Voice of customer insight
    • Market trends
    • Stay up to date with the latest device and operating system releases
    • Assign tasks to the team and help to monitor progress accordingly
  • Review and update content in response to insight & feedback
Strategic requirements
  • Play a key role in implementing content strategy by providing the right content delivered appropriately (format).
  • Utilise and appraise available insight
  • Adhere to best practice standards in content creation and delivery.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture
The Person:
  • Must have previous man management experienceOrganisation & planning
  • Some experience of web authoring tools or a content management system (CMS)
  • Organisation & planning
  • Experienced user of photo editing software e.g. Fireworks, Photoshop
  • Basic HTML
  • Confident pro-active approachable to propose & crucially follow through
  • Technically capable, curious independent thinker- Interest in technology
  • Adept in problem solving & resolution
  • Diligence, attention to detail and the mindset of taking pride in your work
