Job Description

Do you want to make a positive change in Social Workers lives and bring out the best in their work livesAn opportunity has arisen for you to join as a Children Safeguarding Team Manager in our Stroud Safeguarding Team.The rate of pay would be up to £49 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiable.Responsibilities of this role:

  • To lead, manage and be accountable for a team of Social Workers in the delivery of statutory duties and improvement of services to children, young people, and families.
  • To be responsible for performance management and quality assurance within the team, ensuring that the team contributes to Children, Young People and Learning Directorate’s priorities and maintains good outcomes for children.
  • You will provide professional leadership in situations of complexity, risk, uncertainty and challenge, demonstrating effective practices and high-quality judgement, in line with the Professional Capabilities Framework.
Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.Requirements of the role:
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Having knowledge of court work, CP, CIN and CIC and be experienced in supervising and quality assuring a team of dedicated Social Workers.
  • Ability to drive and holds a UK Driving License
