Job Description

Job Scope:We are currently seeking a dedicated Team Leader to join our team, taking on a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of our service. In this position, you will focus on ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, relevant legislation, and best practiceswhile supporting adults with mental health conditions and learning disabilities in achieving their independence goals.As a Team Leader, you will play a strategic role in providing excellent care and leadership to the team, contributing to effective onboarding processes, and actively participating in the development of our staff. Your responsibilities will encompass variousaspects of management and operations within our residential services.Management responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of rotas, accurately recording staff attendance, and maintaining a flexible attitude towards working hours. Additionally, the Team Leader will contribute to the implementation of operationaland HR policies, assist in new staff onboarding, and conduct supervisions. Monitoring staff training, ensuring compliance with standards, and participating in emergency call out provisions are integral to your role.Operationally, the Team Leader will collaborate with the team to oversee care for individuals, ensuring daily allocations are completed, and staff adheres to care plans and protocols. You will conduct audits on support plans, files, and medication, ensuringproper documentation and adherence to safety measures. Supporting care reviews, communication with outside professionals, and minimizing agency usage are vital aspects of your role. Taking responsibility for the presentation and maintenance of facilities,conducting regular audits, and ensuring health and safety compliance contribute to the overall success of our service.Do you have

  • NVQ 3 level or equivalent qualification in Health & social care
  • Commitment to strictly adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures within the service.
  • Proactive approach in maintaining CQC compliance, showcasing the ability to drive necessary improvements and elevate standards when required.
  • Analytical acumen to evaluate staffing ratios and staff skills, ensuring alignment with the diverse needs of supported individuals and the feasibility of care package delivery.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all tasks undertaken in alignment with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and adhere to GDPR guidelines when storing records.
