THE POSITION:Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Alternative Provision setting in the north Bristol area, on a long-term basis.Our client is a specialist alternative educational provision for young people with special educational needs. They are in need of an experienced Teaching Assistant to join them on a long-term basis. With the complex needs of the students, we are lookingfor individuals who are capable and enthusiastic to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment. You will be responsible for working with the children on a 1:1 basis, supporting them in the community as well as on the school site, in the classroom.We are particularly looking for individuals who have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to quickly establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, effectively reengaging them with their learning.
