Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for an Insurance Systems Support Analyst to join a client who very much focuses on the wellbeing of their staff in Central Bristol! The role is hybrid, working Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend or evening work if maintenanceor projects are scheduled.You can expect a generous, competitive basic salary and a full, phenomenal benefits package that covers health, wellbeing and family-based rewards, as well as discounts and wealth-related benefits.The Insurance Systems Support Analyst role:

  • Co-ordinate with related external partners to ensure our approach to business requirements is consistent across teams and also support, manage and undertake system configuration activities as part of day-to-day change activity
  • Provide a central point of contact for logged incidents, ensuring tickets are escalated, monitored and appropriate steps are taken by other teams to resolve incidents/requests in a timely manner
  • Perform gap analysis between internal and external client requirements and the current scope of data that can be captured and output by the firms case management platform
  • Identify and document the configuration or software development changes required to produce management information as specified by the business and its clients
  • Undertake comprehensive regression testing to validate that system changes do not adversely affect wider system integrity
  • Taking the lead in coordinating with other IT department teams on integrated systems support
  • Submitting change requests for approval for changes to all live systems adhering to the department change management process
  • Maintain and update articles published in the Service Desk knowledge base. Ensure members of the Service Desk are cross trained where relevant. Ensure a good working relationship between the team and the Service Desk
The ideal Insurance Systems Support Analyst:
  • Experience supporting insurance/legal specific applications: Eclipse Proclaim, iManage, BigHand, Meeting Room booking systems, InterAction or similar insurance / legal applications
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Interest, understanding and application of clients business goals and ITs place in achieving them.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Proven previous experience in a Support Analyst role
  • Able to write efficient SQL queries to support Report Writing
  • Outstanding attention to detail; self-motivated, enthusiastic, energised
