Job Description

Systems Engineer Employment Type - Full TimeSite Location: Bristol | Bolton | Stevenage - Onsite 4 - 5 Days per week*Must hold a British Passport and be able to obtain or hold active SC/DV Clearance!*Attention all Systems Engineers!Europes most successful Integrated Defence Company is seeking the expertise of a talented individual to help deliver comprehensive Systems Engineering solutions for complex Weapons Projects - with a focus on the front end of the product life cycle.The Role:Youll play a critical role in designing the next generation of Weapon Systems for the UK and its Partner Nations Armed Forces - in response to advanced threats across all combat domains (Air, Land & Sea). Whether you work as part of a multi-disciplinaryteam or lead an individual work package, youll gain broad technical experience by engaging with senior stakeholders, coordinating with technology specialists, and developing advanced systems engineering techniques.Essential Experience:

  • Requirements and Use Case analysis
  • Concept assessment and design trade studies
  • System architecture design and functional modelling
  • Performance assessment and systems behaviour analysis
  • Verification, Validation and Certification
  • Model-based engineering techniques, including MBSE - Model-Based Systems Engineering
DOORS / Rhapsody or Matlab/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of air platforms (Typhoon / F35 etc.)
  • MIL-STD1760/1553 + Avionics knowledge would be beneficial
  • Some understanding of Electronics/Firmware/Software

  • Base salary: £45,000 - £60,000 - Based on experience & interview performance
  • Company Bonus: Circa £2,000 per annum
  • Annual Salary Review - Up to 3.35% + £1k increase per annum
  • Paid Overtime & Flexi-Leave: Up to 15 days flexi leave per year and an average of 5-10% of salary as overtime. - Optional after 37 hour working week
  • Pension: Pension can rise to 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
  • Holidays: 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays and an additional 3-4 days for the Christmas shutdown.
  • Company Sick Pay: This ranges from 6 weeks for the first 6 months of service and on an increasing scale increases up to 48 weeks after 5 years service.
