Job Description

Structural EngineerMy client has over 20 years of experience in providing engineering expertise for a range of sectors throughout the entire design process. This award winning Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy deliver innovative engineering solutions with the aimof lessening the environmental impact. With a positive outlook on future workload they are seeking a talented Structural engineer to join their dynamic and thriving team in Bristol.Salary and Benefits

Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • On track for Chartership with IStructE or ICE
  • Extensive post graduate experience within a design office
  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes and Building Standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all of the common building materials
  • Awareness of the CDM regulations
  • Sound technical expertise with software such as TEDDS, Revit or Bluebeam
The Role
  • Undertake detailed structural designs and analysis up to current standards
  • Submit reports for approval from Building Control
  • Utilising experience to provide innovation solutions taking into account the brief and constraints
  • Produce hand drawn schemes
  • Liaise with other professionals, design teams and clients
