Job Description

Aircraft Stress Engineers, do you want to join a Global Technological leader, who has been an established Go to Engineering service provider, for over 60 yearsWe are seeking Aircraft Stress Engineers with proven experience of airframe structures or systems installations, Static stress or F&DT.We need Stress Engineers with a solid understanding of structural load paths and typical failure modes.A good understanding of aircraft production methods and processesEffective communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving.Experience of PC and mainframe computer systems.Belcan Airframe are an approachable and experienced team of design, static and fatigue engineers, the successful applicants will thrive on the responsibility of working in an Engineering team who consistently strive to provide the best solutions.Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • MEng / BEng Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent) preferred although any candidates with the right experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
  • A good command of technical English, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • We are looking for sharp minded individuals, a solid understanding of lightweight structures and aerospace structural design is essential.
  • Excellent PC skills are essential, including high level proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
Applicants must have the Current Right to Work in the UK (not seeking Sponsorship) and a background that will allow UK Security clearance to be obtained.The Airframe Team are based in Filton, Bristol but Hybrid and Remote working is possible.So, if you have what it takes to bring these skills to Belcan, then we want to hear from you !This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan
