Stock Purchase Ledger Assistant - 6 Month ContractWorking Hours: Full Time Monday - Friday 09.00 - 5.00 pmCliftonSalary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits including on-site parking and 25 days holiday pro rata + bank holidays and a company pensionImmediate Start preferredMy client is seeking a Stock Purchase Ledger Assistant to join the finance team. The role will focus on the processing and reconciliation of trade and non-trade invoices and will be working in a vibrant and busy environment. You will need to be confident working to several deadlines every month.The Key duties of the role will include:Processing of all stock invoices inpreparation for paymentHandling of all stock purchase invoice queriesLiaising with suppliers to ensure invoices are recieved and processed in accordance with agreed payment termsRaising of supplier paymentsFinancial reconciliation of stock across the groupLiaising with the invoicing department regarding split invoicesReview and maintenance of digital recordsAssisting Company Accountants in various areas such as accounts schedules and expenses reimbursementEnsure the business follows all required internal procedures and legislation and assisting the finance team during year end auditHoliday cover for the Accounts AssistantAny other duties deemed by the directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectivesTo be successful in this role you will havePrevious Purchase Ledger experienceStrong technical accounting backgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsExcellent computer skills including ExcelExcellent organisational skillsImpeccable accuracy and data inputExcellent numeracy and attention to detailKnowledge of accountancy softwareAbility to build good working relationshipsAble to work too and achieve deadlinesCalm but confident mannerControl and reconciliation appreciation of spreadsheetsAbility to work as part of a team and with autonomyDesirableAAT LevelExperience of using Microsoft DynamicsCommercial experienceAudit assistance experienceKnowledge of financial regulationsIn return, you will receive a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 pro rata (depending on experience).
