Job Title: Senior Security ArchitectLocation: Bristol We are looking to hire a Senior Security Architect, based in Basingstoke and covering customers solutions both on-site and within the groups infrastructure.Your Responsibilities:To design and implement complex solutions, utilising industry-recognised and vendor best practices of the highest standard.To ensure that implementation and support issues are appropriately progressed in a timely manner.To maintain appropriate product certifications and an appropriate skill level and awareness of new products and product releases.Provide 4th line escalation support both in and out of office hours to diagnose, rectify and mitigate security incidents.To ensure that requests for technical support, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis are serviced in a timely manner and where applicable, within Service Level Agreement timescales.To ensure that appropriate escalation processes are adhered to and that the management and customers are fully updated on the status of ongoing problems and escalations.To act as an authoritative security expert across the group for all direct and in-direct customer accountsTo provide technical knowledge transfer to Network Operations Centre and support staff in order to ensure smooth transition from projects into production.Provide periodic technical assistance to Pre-Sales.Must have excellent telephone manner and be able to explain complex technical diagnosis over the telephone.Acts as the lead security expert for the group company.Will be a personable, presentable individual who can demonstrate the technical and personal competencies required to support a varying number of new and emerging technology areas.Have experience of designing and implementing security solutions using Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Forcepoint hardware and architecture concepts.Expert Knowledge of at least two of the following subjects: Service provider MPLSCloud virtualisationSystem engineeringNetwork security.Expert knowledge of security principles and firewall techniques:Juniper SRX both physical and virtualisationPalo Alto both physical and virtualisationCisco ASA 5508x - 5545x including FirepowerForcepoint both physical and virtualisationMandatory Skills Required:Show demonstrable experience of designing network and security solutions and delivering those designs throughout the project lifecycle.Show demonstrable design experience in proposing and utilising Software Defined Network solutions.Adaptable, used to working to tight time scales, motivated to manage own time, works well on own and with a team.Have excellent written and presentation skills.Strong project management skills, ability to multitask on complex and large projectsHave excellent written and presentation skillsHave obtained SC clearance or be eligible to apply for SC clearance.Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security (desirable)It would be highly advantageous if the candidate possessed any of the following vendor certifications:Cisco CCIE/CCNP SecurityJuniper JNCIE/JNCIP-SECPalo Alto CNSECisco CCNP Routing and SwitchingCISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional
