An exciting opportunity has come up for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in an excellent special needs school near Bristol City Centre.The school has excellent facilities for all types of SEND needs including; Autism, Downs Syndrome, Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities. Many of the children have high needs so the right person will be patient and have a caring nature. Some of the childrenat the school are nonverbal. Some children need assistance with toileting, so you will need to be ok with personal care. The person chosen for this role will need to be competent in responding to the individual needs of SEND children and not phased by medical needs, personal care and challenging behaviour. You will be compassionate and committed to learning about SEND. You will benefit from a supportive working environment, training and at minimum a living wage rate but with the potential to earn more depending on school feedback. Your daily rate of pay would be £85.00* but with the potential to earn more. *This includes holiday pay.
