Job Description

Software Engineer (PHP, Laravel, AWS, Docker, TDD, Vue.js or Vuex)

Following further growing their client base, the demand for this FinTechs key core platform continues to grow and as a result, this FinTech business is scaling. They are currently looking to add a minimum of 3 Software Engineers on board to add value tothis high-functioning Agile development team developing their web application.As a Software Engineer on the team, you will take initiative and ownership; youll get involved in creating user-friendly applications for their Fintech web application which is a large part of the business growth as it is utilised by millions of users.The business is technology driven and their product focusses on automating and providing customers with a smooth solution and enhances communication. The application utilises a LAMP stack.You will add value and contribute towards ongoing product development ensuring that the quality of the product is of the highest standard by sprint planning (any experience of SCRUM is desirable), sprint reviews, working across the full software developmentlifecycle and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will contribute to best practices, help prepare code for automated testing and collaborate with the project team to define scopes etc. Each member of the development team will have dedicated time toconduct research on new and emerging technologies and make suggestions with regards to updates.Software Engineer Requirements
  • Have 2-3 years development experience
  • Experience in developing REST APIs
  • Knowledge of databases and LINUX
  • CI knowledge
  • TDD (desirable)
  • Cloud services such as AWS
