This is an Installation, Commissioning, Service Engineer role looking for someone to step up into a managerial, shift leader, team leader position. Come lead a team in this hands on role.· The field service lifestyle can be lonely and isolating - come work in our installation team where youll learn new skills and develop together.· Develop new skills, working with customers and be able to mentor and manage service, maintenance or installation teams.· Youre a hands-on, mechanically minded Fitter, Installer, Service or Maintenance Technician or Engineer. · Full training and development in a niche sector where youll be able to become an expert.· Shift patterns and weekend work not good for your social life Work Monday to Friday and keep the weekends for you.JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Mechanical Installation Manager, Installation Supervisor, Installation Engineer - field engineering team, mechanical equipmentWorking as our Installation Supervisor, Installation Manager as part of the Field Service Team, you will work away during the week on client sites around the country installing mechanical equipment in education, theatre and conference settings.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Engineer, Mechanical Installation Manager, Installation Supervisor, Installation Engineer - field engineering team, mechanical equipment· You will be managing teams of up to 8 people (though typically 2-4) on multi-day installation projects in schools, colleges, education, conference, theatre and arena customers.· Conduct surveys on client sites during the pre-installation period.· Working as part of the field based mechanical engineering installation team, you will be hands on fitting, installing and commissioning of bespoke projects on client sites across the country.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Mechanical Installation Manager, Installation Supervisor, Installation Engineer - field engineering team, mechanical equipment· Youre confident in front of customers and can drive, motivate, lead and manage teams of Service, Maintenance or Field Installation Engineers.· Youll have some exposure to mechanical engineering principals - either through education or experience. This could be from a maintenance, fitting, service, repair, installation, commissioning, refit or refurbishment role - for instance.· Youre happy to stay away on projects - almost everything will be scheduled well in advance - but leaving home on Monday and getting back on Friday will not be unusual.THE COMPANY:Were a profitable, market leading manufacturer in a very niche industry.
