Job Description

My client, who are a leading refrigeration solutions provider in the UK, have a new vacancy for a Service Administrator to join their busy offices in Thornbury.

  • This is a Permanent, full-time position.
  • Hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week withflexibility.
  • Salary in the region of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • An immediate start is available - new vacancy due to internal promotion.
  • Office-based role in Thornbury
The Company:With over 10 locations and 300+ employees across the country, my clients key activities include the design, manufacture, installation and after sales care of refrigeration and HVAC products, supplying to multiple industries including food processing, brewing,petrochemical and retail.The Service Administrator role:You are responsible for the efficient operation of all Service Centre administration and coordination of the Service Engineers in that area.Duties for the Service Administrator role include:
  • Dealing with customer queries/enquiries/instructions over the phone or email in a polite and efficient manner and resolving their enquiries where possible using your own initiative
  • Accurately escalate any queries or enquiries when needed to the Service Supervisor or Service Manager as necessary
  • Co-ordinate all relevant paperwork to enable the output of the service centre to be invoiced quickly and to ensure that customer accounts are settled as quickly as possible
  • Input client and employee data into ERP / Project systems (IFS) to ensure payment of relevant purchase orders and overtime
  • Ensure all service centre records are maintained for audit purposes
  • Ensure all necessary stocks of stationary are replenished as needed
The ideal person for the Service Administrator role:
  • Proven experience in an Office Administration role is essential
  • Excellent IT skills with a strong knowledge of the Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You must be a Team player with a Positive can do attitude
  • Great communication skills, both written, on the phone and face to face
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
