Join a team committed to unleashing people’s potential to build better companiesJob Role: Senior/Team Lead UX DesignerReporting to: Design ManagerLocation: Primarily remote with the occasion visit to the Bristol or Cirencester office, for collaborative acitivies such as workshops. Background to the role:At Kallidus we build products that help our customers to get the most out of their most important asset, their people. Our software lets Human Resources (HR) people deliver training, monitor compliance, run performance reviews and develop talented people in their organisations. We know there is a massive opportunity to move beyond traditional enterprise software to a new paradigm where the systems that people use in their working lives provide the same, delightful experiences that people expect in their everyday digital lives. People no longer accept the uninspiring and difficult-to-use tools they have been provided with in the past. Times have changed. At Kallidus, we have spent the last 4 years building a design team to bring this vision into reality. We have embedded a design-centred approach to our product development that’s already set us apart from our competition and delivered great results. This work has seen us work closely with our customers to gather great research and user testing insights. We are now looking to grow the design team and work more closely with our development teams, by having dedicated UX designers working within those cross-functional teams. The Senior UX designer will work autonomously as the sole UX designer within that team, managing all aspects of their projects from strategy, research, UX design and testing activities. Alongside the development team and product manager, they will also work closely with a visual designer. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to a fast growing and ambitious company and shape the way the design team matures. This role is remote, along with the rest of the organisation, but the occasional visit to either our Bristol or Cirencester office is needed when participating in collaborative activities and meetings, such as workshops. Some travel is also required for conducting user research and testing sessions.Key Responsibilities
