Senior Transport Planner/Engineer - BristolSalary: £30k - £33kThe CompanyOur Client is highly experienced in all aspects of planning and development promotion, from site appraisals and development studies to land promotion through development plans, including examination appearances, to the preparation of planning applications and appeal of all scaleThe Role The Sustainable Development and Delivery Team provide a range of transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development projects all across the UK.In order to support growth – not just in the volume of our clients workload but also critically in the breadth of the services that they offer they are now looking to recruit within their Bristol office.Role Responsibilities: Our client are seeking a Senior Transport Planner/Engineer with experience in development planning.With a background either in private practice or in local Government,You will have a good understanding of the development planning process in the UK.You will have experience in completing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Site Access Appraisals and Travel Plans, and experience in highway / junction design.Essential Skills & Requirements: You will also have strong report writing and communication skills.A confident user of ARCADY / PICADY / LinSig, TRICS, Tempro and AutoCAD is desirable.This role will sit within a dynamic team within the wider Planning team and they are looking for someone with team spirit, a ‘can-do’ attitude and enthusiasm, as well as the technical skills necessary to derive solutions to a range of problems.This is an opportunity for an ambitious person to grow professionally, to expand their technical knowledge and to progress within the organisation.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
