Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Senior Software EngineerSalary: £68000 - 83000LOCATION(S): BristolHOURS: Full timeWORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office siteAbout this opportunityOur team is part of the Group Transformation division, in the Finance Value Stream. Youll be responsible for designing change for the vast and complex Finance landscape, moving us towards the new Oracle Fusion (Cloud hosted ledger) application ecosystem, andthe new Finance data foundation.Were a group of people pulled together by our passion for coding, experimenting, designing, and learning everything that makes us better engineers.Lloyds Banking Group vision is to be the best bank for customer and to realize it we intend to make it the best bank for Engineers!Our mission is to promote the adoption of modern software engineering practices, accelerating our transition towards DevOps, continuous integration continuous deployment, cloud computing, and agile ways of working.Youll work in a cross-disciplinary team and act as advocate for technology systems analysis, providing a voice to other software engineers and solution designers within the teams.Youll perform detailed technical and systems analysis to support solution architecture and detail engineering design as well as continually developing yourself with the group architectural design standards needed to engineer the best solutions. Join us on our journey and you will too…What you’ll needWe encourage people from a range of role and industry backgrounds, but the following experience will be highly beneficial:

• Experience in either Software Engineering, Systems Analysis or Functional Solution Design with experience in shaping and performing engineering across sophisticated operational and technology landscapes,
• Familiarity with technologies such as Oracle Database, SQL Server, TWS, API Connect, Oracle Fusion and Google Cloud Platform.
• Technical knowledge and experience in the domains of database management, data integration, cloud/SaaS integration, cybersecurity, and authentication.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Urbancode, and Docker.
• Expertise in group design standards, architecture, and design governance requirements,
• Good understanding and/or experience of dataflow, technology & security policies, group data policy and data management practices.

And any experience of these would be really useful

• Exposure to Finance and accounting systems desirable though not crucial.
