Job Description

A leading manufacturer and supplier into the medical sector are seeking an experienced, and successful Senior Sales Representative to manage the Southwest region of the UK. You will be supporting clients from around Gloucester down to Cornwall and SouthWales over to Hampshire. An ideal home location would be around the Bristol / Swindon regions along M4.As a Senior Sales Representative you will be accountable for generating sales in your established current accounts and territory, but also working to identify new clients and opportunities.Due to the recent changes from Covid in how the medical industry and NHS work there is currently less of a requirement to be on site with customers and so the majority of the time will be working from home with monthly visits.Role is available due to a recent retirement and so this is a very healthy sales region with good pipeline that needs to be managed along with new business development.A background in healthcare is desirable, but not essential.Benefits package of Senior Sales Representative:

Responsibilities of Senior Sales Representative
  • Identify new customers and sales opportunities to maintain and build sales revenue.
  • Research customer specifications and requirements against company products.
  • Create, monitor and update lead generation plans to generate potential sales pipeline.
  • Liaise between customer and company for specifications, drawings, production schedules, quality control demands and packaging requirements etc.
  • Compile reports on customer contacts, sales opportunities and activities within assigned accounts. Keep CRM system fully up to date.
Required experience / qualifications:
  • Ideally have extensive sales experience, preferably in a B2B sales environment in the medical industry although not essential.
  • Successful territory development experience.
  • Professional work style with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills required.
  • Ability to travel including valid drivers license
