Senior Research Associate in Medical Statistics or EpidemiologyJob number ACAD104627Division/School - Bristol Medical SchoolContract type - Open EndedWorking pattern - Full timeSalary - £38,017 - £42,792 per annumClosing date for applications 14-Aug-2020Applications are invited for a medical statistician or epidemiologist with strong statistical expertise to join the team based in the Musculoskeletal Research Unit in Bristol Medical School. You will join a multidisciplinary group of epidemiologists, statisticians, musculoskeletal clinical academics and researchers carrying out impactful research into musculoskeletal conditions, their treatment and outcomes. This post will primarily utilise large routinely collected healthcare data analysis with observational study designs.You will conduct data management of large health databases, write study protocols and statistical analysis plans, conduct advanced statistical modelling and write up research outputs in the form of academic papers for publication and conference presentations as lead and co-author.
