Job Description

Senior project planner£55,000Melksham, UKAre you an experienced project planner with an eye for detail Then this role is the right one for you!In this role, the candidate will lead the planning of KB Projects for all business streams.Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of role-based costed programmes at the tender phase- Creation of resource loaded/detailed base lined programmes of work at the order phase
  • Control of change requests both internal and external using Whatif plans to guide the Project Manager.
  • Creation and analysis of earned value reports both at project and portfolio level
  • Cost analysis against a baseline
  • Analysis of baseline trends, float and critical path
  • Identification and levelling of resources to prioritise slippage to programmes of work
  • Baseline analysis and communication of corrective actions
  • Creation and analysis of timesheet metrics and monthly board report summaries
  • Risk analysis and avoidance of resource bottlenecks
  • Maintenance of planning database, resource profiles/calendars
  • Update of generic templates with information from delivered projects (lessons learned for cost/duration)
  • Provide information on current and future engineering Projects and impact on resource and skill sets
  • Analysis of customer (Intercompany / Internal) schedules against specific constraints or agreements
Who are we looking for
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Planning experience utilising Primavera
  • Knowledge of Engineering disciplines
  • Strong academic record
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • PC literate
