Job Title - Project Controls Manager / Senior Project Controls ManagerSector - Nuclear / Infrastructure / HighwaysSalary - up to £80,000 + £7000 car and an excellent benefits packageClient / ProjectsCobalt is currently working with a leading global name in the construction industry that have an excellent opportunity for a Project Controls / Senior Project Controls manager to join their already successful team.Projects that you will be involved in can be any type of energy or civil engineering works including Nuclear, utilities, roads, walkways, bridges, tunnelling through to refurbishment and new build construction work. You could be managing multiple projectsat any one time with values ranging from hundreds of thousands of pounds to multi million-pound projects. Exposure of having experience of working in the role on the above type of projects is essential.To work on these projects and for this client we will need to put you through SC clearance. This means you must have been a UK resident for a minimum of years (most recent 5 years), not have dual residency and go through credit, department and company recordchecks, and a criminal check.The CandidateYou will have experience working as a project controls manager on large scale construction / infrastructure projects. You have proven relevant experience on a major construction project in at least two of the following three project controls disciplines:cost, scheduling, and ROTC. You have a consulting background in client project / programme and feel comfortable building lasting relationships with clients. Proven experience of a PMO or can demonstrate an understanding of what a PMO does and a willingnessto learn. Degree qualified in construction / project management or civil engineering or equivalent.
