Job Title: Senior Savings Product ManagerLocation: Remote workingSalary: Between £50-70,000 depending on experienceHours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pmBenefits:

    • About the role of Senior Savings Product ManagerWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Savings Product Manager to join our clients savings leadership team in their newly formed Retail division. Our client is on a mission to be the most admired savings provider in the UK.Reporting to the MD of Savings, you will be a key member of the Savings leadership team with responsibility for leading the product and proposition. You will own the development and execution of the savings product strategy.Our client provides Mortgages, Savings, Annuities and Commercial Lending products across the group. The Savings team plays a pivotal role in the success of the Retail business and overall banks five-year strategy.Responsibilities for the role of Senior Savings Product Manager
  • Review and evaluate the existing savings product portfolio and recommend appropriate changes
  • Develop a product roadmap for future savings products and propositions, including channel strategy and engagement with savings marketplaces and platforms
  • Design and create savings products and propositions, ensuring compliance with product governance policy approved by the board
  • Understand the competitive structure of the UK savings market to ensure the bank is well positioned within it
  • Work with colleagues to identify customer needs and pain points across savings and adapt the product and proposition strategy accordingly
  • Monitor and own all competitor insight and market trends. Ensure developments are incorporated into the acquisition, retention, and product strategy
  • Deliver weekly and monthly forecasts to retail executive and pricing and treasury committee and report on actual performance
  • Performance manage a Management Information Analyst
    • Experience required for the role of Senior Savings Product Manager
  • Someone who understands the competitive structure of the UK savings market, particularly the role of new entrant and small banks, to ensure the Bank is well positioned within it
  • Someone who is passionate about savings and wants to design and create savings products and propositions for savers
  • A proven background in a savings product and proposition background is essential
  • Sound knowledge of BCOBS, FCA and PRA regulatory frameworks
  • Results focused with sound financial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
