Job Description

-Are you an experienced Town / Environmental Planner with Renewables experience-Would you like to work for a leading Planning, Landscape and Environmental Consultancy-Do you want to work within a supportive culture where you are empowered to achieve your full potentialIf so, read on!As you will know, the renewables sector is growing extremely rapidly! My team is delighted to be working closely with a leading multi-disciplinary Consultancy on several strategic hires to help fulfill growth ambitions in the sector!The two primary areas of responsibility for this role will be to deliver high-quality project work to clients and to work with the Directors and others in marketing the services of the Practice and expanding the client base. However, the role of the SeniorPlanner will be wide-ranging and inevitably there will be a need to be flexible in responding to market conditions.The main duties will be as follows:

  1. To provide a professional planning service to the Practice;
  2. To coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams working on planning / EIA projects
  3. To maintain a good relationship with clients and deliver high-quality project work;
  4. To manage projects efficiently in accordance with the companys project management procedures;
  5. To work with planning colleagues in managing the workload of the team to ensure the best use of resources;
  6. To work with the Directors and others in undertaking marketing tasks and preparation of fee proposals as required;
  7. To work with others to ensure planning aspects of the website are interesting, current and relevant;
  8. To monitor developments in planning practice and communicate these to the team; and
  9. Other duties as appropriate to the role.
